Maybe you don’t need to be “better with money.” Maybe you need to understand what happens inside you when money gets involved.
If you’ve ever avoided checking your bank account, bought something for the tiny rush of feeling better, promised yourself you’d finally get organised on Monday, or wondered why being smart and responsible still doesn’t make money feel simple… you’re exactly who I had in mind when I created this space.
I studied psychology at university, and one thing I kept coming back to was how rarely our everyday behaviour is as random as it looks. We repeat patterns because they do something for us — they soothe us, protect us, distract us, give us a sense of control, or help us avoid a feeling we don’t quite know what to do with yet.
That’s what this site is really about: looking at money, habits, procrastination, anxiety and self-worth with more curiosity and less shame. Not another corner of the internet telling women to just budget harder.

A lot of financial advice starts with numbers. Spend less. Save more. Make a plan. And yes, those things matter. But knowing what to do and actually being able to do it are two very different things.
Sometimes the interesting question isn’t “Why did I spend that?” It’s “What was I feeling five minutes before I spent it?” Sometimes avoiding your banking app isn’t laziness — it’s avoidance doing its very convincing little job. Sometimes procrastination is less about time management and more about the emotion attached to starting.
The workbook was created to help you notice those patterns without turning self-reflection into another thing you can fail at. Think guided questions, psychological ideas translated into normal human language, and space to work out what is actually true for you.
This might be for you if…
You understand money advice in theory but struggle to follow it consistently.
You feel anxious, guilty or avoidant around money.
You sometimes spend for comfort, relief, identity or a sense of control.
You’re tired of advice that makes every habit sound like a discipline problem.
You want to understand your patterns before trying to force yourself into new ones.
Try it before you decide anything.
Below are seven pages from the workbook. Read them slowly. See whether the voice feels like someone you’d actually want beside you while you untangle this stuff. If it doesn’t resonate, that’s completely fine. If it makes you stop and think, “Oh… that explains a lot,” then you’ll know there’s more waiting for you in the full workbook.
You don’t have to fix your whole financial life today.
You can just understand one pattern a little better than you did yesterday. The full workbook continues from here with guided reflection designed to help you notice what sits underneath your money habits — and start making choices from awareness rather than shame.
If the preview felt useful, the full version is there when you’re ready. No dramatic life overhaul required.
